Tomilyn Vea "Tommi" Engel

Citrus Heights, California - Tomilyn Vea Engel, 86 passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on 5/2/2025. Born in Huntington Park, CA to Thomas and Helen (Lewin) Clark. In the late 1940'sTommi and her mother moved to El Dorado County in Northern California to be with close relatives living in the beautiful Sierra Navada's. She graduated from El Dorado High School in 1956, then in 1957, married Elmer Engel (1933 - 2012) the love of her life. The family moved to the Sacramento area in 1967. Tommi is survived by her children Mona Reding and Mike Engel, grand children Alexia (Lexi) Engel, Joel Reding, Davied Reding, great grand children Cloe, Landon, Evan, Austin and her siblings Tom Clark & Jean Black. She also has many cousins in the area.
Tommi's greatest joy was being with her family. She looked forward to holidays and other special events where she entertained and prepared delicious meals. She touched everyone with her love, compassion and generosity. She was beautiful inside and out and will be greatly missed.
A private service will be held at her home, date to be forwarded.
