Tommie Lee “Junnie” Williams, Jr., age 56, transitioned peacefully into eternal rest on Saturday, August 3, 2024. He was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. Tommie was a 1986 graduate of John Ehret High School, and formerly employed as a mechanical technician. He was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan, who proudly claimed the title of being the most loyal and dedicated #1 fan. Loving father of LaTasha Sullen. Cherished grandfather of Aysia Aples, Amiah Sullen and Ah’Mier Carter. Son of the late Tommie Lee Williams, Sr. and Esther H. Williams. Beloved brother of Patricia (Grant) White, Cynthia Williams, Tammy (Clarence) Barnes, Dionne (Tyrone) Dukes, Tira Williams, Darnell Williams, Sr. and Demond Williams. Great uncle of the late Dru Williams. Nephew of Anita Baptiste, Matilda Williams, Rita Mead, Sherry Bolden, Patricia Lewis, Harry (Perline) Pierre, and Willie (Linda) Williams. Godson of the late Ivan Chopin and Ethel McKnight. “Junnie”, as he was affectionately known to family and friends, is also survived by the mother of his child, Darlene Sullen, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
