Tommy Elmore

Tommy L. Elmore, 79, a native of Folkston, Ga. passed away on November 06, 2025 at Hospice of the Golden Isles, in Brunswick, Ga. following a lengthy illness. He was born on June 19, 1946 to the late, Della Elmore and Mr. Jackson in Charlton County, Ga. Tommy received his education from Bethune School. He worked most of his life in Construction and in logistics as a truck driver.
Tommy was preceded in death by both parents and a brother, Jimmie Elmore.
He is survived by his son, Kawruae, aka Shelton Newkirk (Debbie Mills) Sajaad, Spartanburg, SC; two grandchildren, Jahkari Sajaad and Trayvon Carson; two great grandchildren; his sisters, Gloria (Howard) Baker and Vera Bridges, both of Folkston, Ga.; his brothers, James Thomas and Howard Elmore, both of Folkston, Ga.; a stepson, Richard Suit and a special friend, Carolyn Savage, both of Asbury Park, NJ and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Memorial service will be held on November 15, 2025 @ 2:00 pm at House of Faith Church, Paxton, Rd., Folkston, Ga.
Remains will lie in state (1) hour prior to service for viewing.
There will be a private disposition following services.
