Tommy Dale Longnecker of Texarkana, Arkansas was born April 19, 1946. He passed away on August 22, 2025 in a Texarkana nursing home.
Tommy proudly served in the United States Air Force in Big Springs, Texas.
When he was honorably discharged, he began his employment at Cooper Tire where he retired after over thirty years.
Tommy was affectionately known as Deddy, Uncle Tommy and DD. He enjoyed hunting, cooking, gardening and camping with his family.
Tommy was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Rosemary (Tollett) Longnecker his parents, Amos Longnecker and Cornelius and Maxine Duckett.
Tommy is survived by his children, Shawn (Brenda) Longnecker, Jeremy Longnecker, Jolie Koller and Linzi (Ben) Wallis; two sisters, Martha (Leland) Gautney and Anita Duckett; his grandchildren, Tristen, Eric, Hayden, Adison, Jaxon, Ellison, Emory, Alex and Eden, his great-grandchild, Anisten, three sisters-in-law, Saundra Stanley, Betty Trieschmann and Suzanne (Mark) Weir; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025 at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
A private graveside service will be held at Nashville Cemetery.
