Tommy Carl Sikes, 77, of Gentry, Arkansas died Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Siloam Springs Regional Hospital in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He was born December 24, 1946, to the late Bob Lee and Della Marie Sikes in Harper, Kansas. Tommy married Nola Sue Capps March 11, 1967, in Decatur, Arkansas. Mr. Sikes was a loving father who enjoyed hunting and farming. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nola Sue, and his brother-in-law, Micky Capps
He is survived by his daughter Brook Dilbeck and husband, Paul of Gentry; two sons, Rusty Sikes and wife, Carla of Gentry, Dusty Sikes and wife, Shelly of Gentry; five granddaughters, Suzanna Crooch of Claremore, Oklahoma, Emiley Doss of Gentry, Raley Dilbeck of Gentry, Lynzey Sikes of Gentry, Dru Sikes of Gentry; four grandsons; Beau Sikes of Greenwood, Arkansas, Kyle Dilbeck of Gentry, Austin Cochran of Gentry, Joshua Cochran of Kansas, Oklahoma; two great-granddaughters, Nola Sikes of Greenwood, Arkansas and Wrenley Crooch of Claremore, Oklahoma; two great-grandsons, McCall Crooch of Claremore, Oklahoma and Elias Cochran, of Kansas, Oklahoma; sister, Dixie Lowrey of Siloam Springs; two brothers; Bill Sikes of Houston, Texas and Bobby Sikes of Siloam Springs; several nieces and nephews; sister in law, Reba Capps of Colcord, Oklahoma; brother in law, Ricky Capps and wife, Joann of Gentry.
A graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 5, 2024, at Bozarth Cemetery in Gentry.

I knew Tom ever since grade school. We were always friends. Even though I didn't see him very often I'll miss him. The highest regard I can give to any one is to say "he was a good old boy." That's what I'll always say about Tom. Rest in peace my friend. Delbert (Del) Lamphear.
