Funeral services for Mr. Tommy Eugene Weeks, Sr., 76, of Leland, MS who passed on Tuesday August 19th, 2025 at Delta Health Medical Center will be held at 11 am on Saturday August 23rd, 2025 at Restoration Church. Visitation will be held one hour before service. Bro. Jae Smith will be officiating. Interment will be private and serving as pallbearers are Stanley Saulter, Ollie Taylor, Kristopher Alford, Kye McKinley, Tristan Pike, and Freddy Weeks, Jr. Dusty McKinley, Caleb Weeks, and Chris Burns have been bestowed the title of honorary pallbearers.
Tommy was born to Virgie and Allen McBride in Indianola, MS on January 29th, 1949. He was a member of Restoration Church. He was a dedicated tow boat captain for over 50 years. In his spare time he enjoyed yard work and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Luther Crook, four sisters: Jackie Cochran, Mary Ann Cooper, Wilma Long, and Kay Barnes, as well as a stepdaughter: Teresa Rochelle.
He is survived by his wife: Becky Weeks of Leland, MS, three children: Sonia Parker (Stanley) of Raleigh, MS, Tonia McKinley of Brandon, MS, Tommy Weeks, Jr. (Tasha) of Destin, FL along with three stepdaughters: Tammy Abrego of Laplaze, LA, Candace Rochelle of Greenville, MS, and Paige Rochelle of Leland, MS as well as a brother: Freddy Weeks (Renee) of Greenville, MS, sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews, and friends, all of which who will miss him dearly.
