Tony Frederick Nichols, 56, of Williamston, North Carolina passed away on Friday, November 12, 2024.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 1:30 pm at the Pinewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 12:00-1:00 prior to the service.
Born and raised in Pitt County, he was the son of the late Carl Nichols and Betty Jean Braxton. Tony was the youngest of three sons. He attended North Pitt High School. In addition to his father, Tony was preceded in death by his step-father, Tim Eakes; and sister-in-law, Sarah Nichols.
He is survived by his children, Todd Nichols (wife, Kristen) and Mackenzie Nichols (fiancé, Jeffrey Cale); step-mother, Bernice
Mills Nichols; mother, Betty Jean Braxton Eakes; and brothers, Stanley Nichols and Kirt Nichols (wife, Melissa). Along with numerous nieces and nephews.

My 1st childhood crush and lifelong friend. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Several of us have been reminiscing about our good times together. We will cherish our memories and wish we had more. We tried. Prayers for all the family, and Tony, I will see ya when I get there.
