Trace Robert Thome Age 17, of Exeland, WI, died Sunday, May 12, 2024 at his home. He was born on April 19, 2007 in Eau Claire, WI to Ryan and Melissa (Lucas) Thome. Trace was a Junior at Bruce High School where he was active in Baseball, Football and Basketball. He was on the Math Team and on the National Honor Society. He loved math, playing chess, reading, enjoyed Civil War History, deer hunting and fishing. Trace loved hanging out with his favorite uncle, Steve and always offered to help anyone and volunteered his time. If he could get a laugh out of someone, then his job was accomplished. Trace put his faith in Christ for salvation at an early age and is now enjoying that free gift of eternal life. Trace enjoyed getting to know his God and knew his Bible well. Trace trusted the Lord in all things. He attended Meteor Hills Bible Church and enjoyed being a part of the youth group. Trace's goal was to go to West Point Academy for his future. He was very mechanically inclined and wanted to be an Engineer. He is survived by his parents, Ryan and Melissa Thome; his brother, Jake Thome; his grandparents, Steve and Peggy Thome & Barbara and Randy Lucas & Deanna Green; great grandparents, Virginia Green & Bill and Pam Green; many uncles, aunts and cousins. Funeral Service will be held at 4PM Sunday, May 19, 2024 at the Exeland Rod and Gun Club Pavillion on Dump Road in Exeland, WI, Pastor Al Miller officiating. Visitation will be held from 1-4PM Sunday at the Pavillion. If you wish please bring a dessert to pass. Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI is assisting and serving the family with the arrangements.
