With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Tracy Adcox, a visionary leader, mentor, and esteemed member of the business community. Tracy departed from this world on April 20, 2024, in Falls Church, Virginia, leaving behind a legacy that will echo through generations.
Tracy Adcox was born on March 24, 1975, in Nashville, Tennessee, commencing a remarkable journey characterized by resilience, innovation, and compassion. Graduating from George Washington University in 1997 with a Bachelor's Degree in International Affairs and later earning an MBA in Small Business and Entrepreneurship in 2001, she set forth on her path as a trailblazer in the Government Contracting community.
In 2006, Tracy founded K3 Solutions, a company she nurtured into an award-winning enterprise, recognized twice by Inc. magazine as one of the fastest-growing companies in the United States. Under her stewardship, K3 garnered accolades, including being named four times by the Washington Business Journal as a Best Place to Work.
Beyond her professional triumphs, Tracy was a devoted spouse, loving parent, and cherished friend. Her kindness, generosity, and genuine concern for others left an indelible mark on countless lives.
Tracy Adcox is survived by husband Stephen; children Alexander, Amelia, Sophia, Marisol; parents Ronald and Vicky Adcox, sister Mandy Thayer, brother-in-law Steve Thayer and a host of family, friends, colleagues, and mentees fortunate enough to have shared in her journey.
A Catholic service celebrating Tracy Adcox's life and legacy will be held at St. James Catholic Church in Falls Church, Virginia on April 27, 2024 at 1:30PM. She will be remembered warmly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Inova Schar in honor of Tracy Adcox's memory.
Though Tracy Adcox may no longer be visible to us, her unwavering spirit and profound influence will continue to illuminate and inspire. She will be profoundly missed and forever cherished as a paragon of leadership and excellence in the business realm.
