Tracy L. Ellenbecker went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus on Thursday, July 31, 2025. Tracy was born on February 16, 1966 to Larry and Ellen Ellenbecker. Tracy graduated from Appleton West High School in 1984.
Tracy grew up involved in baseball, football, track and downhill skiing. He and his family enjoyed camping and time at the cottage.
After high school, Tracy moved to Milwaukee and worked in the cement and epoxy industry as a laborer. He was always the life of the party, and everyone who met him loved him.
Thirty-five years ago, Tracy experienced a life-altering brain injury due to an accidental overdose. Though the path that followed was not the one he-or his family-expected, it became a journey marked by resilience, love, and the unbreakable bonds of family.
In the decades that followed, Tracy was cared for with unwavering devotion by his parents, Larry and Ellen, whose love provided him comfort and dignity every day of his life. His presence, even in silence, reminded those around him of the strength of the human spirit and the enduring power of compassion.
Though he faced profound challenges, Tracy still touched the lives of those who knew him with his quiet courage and gentle spirit. His two nieces were touched by the compassion of growing up with an uncle with disabilities.
He will be remembered not only for the life he lived, but for the deep love that surrounded him, and the grace with which his family walked beside him.
Tracy is survived by his parents, Larry and Ellen Ellenbecker, his sister; Tammy (Dan) Malewski. His nieces, Gabrielle (Rogelio) Flores, Abigail (Eli) Tschech, and Veronica (Brody) Malewski. Tracy is preceeded in death by his Grandparents, Ernest and June Tobin, Irving and Leona Ellenbecker, Bob and Pauline Johnson.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Please consider a memorial in Tracy's honor to Apricity.
