Tracy J. Pancost, 61, died November 9, 2024 at Hosparus Health Inpatient Care Center in Louisville. She was born in Kansas to Dr. Dean and Mrs. Mary Kaye Weckman, the youngest of four children. Upon graduation from Kansas State University, she worked in the banking industry throughout her career. She most recently served as Senior V.P. of Credit Risk at Truist Bank. She was well-known in the dog showing community, exhibiting West Highland White Terriers and Boston Terriers. She was active in the Louisville Kennel Club, the West Highland White Terrier Club of Indiana, Delaware, Ohio Kennel Club, and the West Highland White Terrier Club of America, serving as president and club representative to the American Kennel Club. She was preceded in death by a sister and her parents. She is survived by her husband Terry Pancost and her daughter MacKenzie, two brothers, Randy Weckman (Karen) of Lexington, and Doug Weckman of Arizona, and a host of nieces & nephews. Her Memorial Services will be 4 PM Thursday Nov. 14, 2024 at Pearsons 149 Breckenridge Lane. Visitation will be 1-4 PM Thursday. Those wishing to make remembrances in her honor are encouraged to contribute to Norton Healthcare Foundation to benefit the Norton Cancer Institute: Norton Healthcare Foundation, Dept. 86140, PO Box 950183, Louisville, KY 40295-0183. Arrangements under the direction of Pearson's, "Where Louisville Goes to Remember".
