Travis D. Curry, 52, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

Travis was born on September 29, 1972, in Andalusia, Alabama, to Mary L. (Johnnie) Henderson. He was a lifelong resident of Mansfield, Ohio.

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Travis Curry. He left this world peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. He worked at Liberty Nursing Home of Mansfield in the kitchen, preparing meals for the elderly, who loved him dearly. In his free time, Travis enjoyed fishing, working on cars, playing with his dogs, and spending time with his family. Travis was always approachable and willing to listen about anything. He offered great advice and was skilled at fixing or working on cars. Travis was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back. Even after becoming blind, he never once complained, despite how challenging that must have been.

He leaves behind his children, Travis Coffee-Curry, Jaquan Curry, Tyson Curry, and daughter Alaina Curry; his two sisters, Bremondo Curry and Sharlene (Rodney) Caldwell; his brother, Johnnie Henderson; and a host of nieces and nephews. Travis is also loved by his two grandchildren, Ayvem Lee Coffee-Curry and Danita Lee Coffee Curry.
