Travis D. McFail was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was known as "Tree Daddy" to some
and "Pops" to others. Travis went to his eternal rest on April 21, 2024 at the age of 70.
Travis McFail was born on June 25, 1953 to Thomas (Chin) and Geraldine McFail in Honey Grove, TX.
He joined the Army in 1974 and later was honorably discharged. He worked for PPG in Wichita Falls, TX for 40 years until retirement.
Travis leaves behind three sons, Trevon Fields (Amanda) of Wichita Falls, TX, Trevas McFail (Stacey) of Colorado Springs,
CO, Thomas Fields (Cindy) of Hutto, TX; four daughters, LaTrese Hicks of Dallas, TX, LaTrina Parker (Ray) of Wichita Falls, TX,
Tamela McFail of Colorado Springs, CO, and LaToya Fields of Lewisville, TX; sister, Wanda Lockett Kines of Dallas, TX;
brother, Hollis Wayne (Ruby); grandchildren, Ashili, Kinterra, Courtland, Xavior, Aniyah (yaya), Amari (bullrider), Terrell, Tiara, Antranese, Danari, Jaxon, Lamin, Tazhane, Tamiya, Kierra, Phoenyx, Andre, Trevas Jr., Tyrek, Aaliyah. Tremere, Whitney, Thomas Jr., Josiah, and Kaiya. A host of nieces and nephews and friends near and dear to his heart.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Geraldine McFail, and son, Courtland Henigan.
The family would like to give a Thank You to the nurses at Healing Hand Healthcare for the wonderful care they provided Travis. He loved giving his nurses a hard time but
was very grateful for everything. As Travis would say "once a man, twice a child". He will be missed dearly and always in our hearts.

Travis was one of the bright spots when walking through the front doors at PPG. He always had a smile and sense of humor that would make a bad situation bearable. However, Travis seemed to be just as warm and friendly outside the confines of our work . Travis, thank you for being a special friend.
