Travis Shane Moxley, 50, entered into rest Wednesday, November 20, 2024. He was born in Gainesville, FL and was a resident of Atlanta before moving to Augusta. He was a veteran of the US Marines and attended Sandersville Community Church. Travis was an avid outdoorsman and animal lover.
He is survived by his parents, Debra and Robert Whitmer of Hephzibah; his wife, Tina Painter of Augusta; his aunt, Alice Foster of Ocala, FL; his aunt and uncle, Sissy and Bob Adams of High Springs, FL; a cousin, Jolee Adams of Gainesville, FL; and two great cousins.
Memorial Services will be held 2:00pm Saturday, November 30 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Scott Ferguson and Rev. Josh Williams officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
