Travis Lynwood Stacy, age 26, of Bell Buckle, TN passed from this life on October 7, 2023, at Vanderbilt-Bedford Hospital.
Born July 15, 1997, in Murfreesboro, TN, Travis was the son of Ronnie and Markeita "Sissy" Payne Stacy. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Larry Payne and Bruce & Margaret Stacy; and great grandparents, Paul & Mary Payne.
Travis was a graduate of Cascade High School class of 2016 and had gained an associate's degree from TCAT. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy and had just finished his military service in January of this year and was working with Wegmann Automotive US Inc.
He was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and bass fishing. His favorite activity was riding his motorcycle.
Along with his parents, he is survived by: twin brother, William Roland Stacy of Bell Buckle; and grandparents, Barry & Mary Ann Hendrixson.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2023, in the Chapel of Doak-Howell Funeral Home with Jeff Collett officiating. Burial will follow at Hazel Cemetery in Bell Buckle, TN.
Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11th and again prior to funeral services on Thursday, Oct. 12th beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to VSO (Voluntary Services Overseas) @ www.vsointernational.org.
