With heavy hearts yet fond recollections, we commemorate the life of Travon Wilford, affectionately known as Tray, Tray5, or Tray-Day Upin-stay to his Mother . Born in Columbus, Ohio, on August 28, 1994, Travon was the charismatic heart of our family. His birth sparked a light that illuminated the lives of everyone lucky enough to know him. Travon's infectious laughter and boundless spirit made him the heartbeat of every gathering.

Travon was the embodiment of adventure and laughter. His love for music was only surpassed by his passion for baseball, which he pursued with fervor in his younger years. Travon was also a lover of travel, always eager to explore new places and meet new people. His funny anecdotes and tales from his adventures kept us all entertained. He had an incredible ability to transform an ordinary day into an extraordinary one, making each moment memorable and full of joy.

Travon was a beacon of loyalty, always placing his family and friends at the center of his universe. He was a proud and loving father to his sons, Daquan and Daniel Wilford. Travon is survived by his mother, Donella Wilford, his siblings, Amina Butler, Dezwuan Forrest, Dyrachel Wilford, and Andre Wilford, Dorianna Booker , his beloved nieces and nephew, Sabirina Siyake, My'leaha Wilford, and Tremaine Knight & Spouse Dominque Smithe. Each of us will forever cherish the countless moments of joy and laughter he shared with us. As the Bible says in John 16:22, "So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy."

We invite you to join us in celebrating Travon's life on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 9:30 am EDT at the Evergreen Funeral Service & Reception, located at 1855 E 17th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio, 43219. We encourage you to honor Travon's memory by sharing your stories, photographs, and cherished memories on his memorial page. May we all remember Travon for the light he brought into our lives, and may his spirit continue to inspire us to live life with joy, adventure, and endless laughter.
