Trent William Moyar passed away on August 22, 2025 in the company of his family after a prolonged battle with Ewing sarcoma. Trent was born in Cleveland, Ohio on September 14, 2002 to Mark and Kelli Moyar. He attended Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria, Virginia, where he was a distinguished student and athlete. An avid runner, he competed in state high school championships for track and cross country. After graduation, he attended the Carnegie Mellon School of Computer Science. The cancer left him with a disability that prevented him from running in college and caused him to miss multiple semesters, but he was able to return to school even while undergoing continued chemotherapy treatments. Trent was a caring and kind person who remained resilient and considerate of others under the most trying of circumstances.

Trent is survived by his parents, Mark and Kelli; sister, Greta; brother, Luke; grandparents, Bert and Marjorie Moyar, Ralph and Barbara Meilander; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. They will miss him very much, but look forward to seeing him again in the presence of the Lord.

Funeral services will be held at Living Savior Lutheran Church at 5500 Ox Rd, Fairfax Station, VA 22039 on Friday, August 29 at 10:00am. After the services, a procession will take Trent for committal at Fairfax Memorial Park at 9900 Braddock Rd, Fairfax, VA 22032.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution in memory of Trent to the Little Warrior Foundation, which supports research for Ewing sarcoma. Donations may be made at https://givebutter.com/TrentMoyar or mailed to Little Warrior Foundation, PO Box 2124, Brookfield WI, 53008-2124.
