Terry passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on December 27, 2024, surrounded by her children. She is preceded in death by her parents Matthew and Anna Shegina; sisters Anna Mae Scheid and Loretta Ganster; and grandsons Jason Fleishner and Bryan Ketterer. Terry is survived by Herbert Ketterer and her loving children, Janet Fleishner (Gary), James Ketterer (Susan), Douglas Ketterer (late Rebecca), and Sandra McGinn (Thomas); grandmother (Memaw) of Ashley Gruszkowski (Jordan), Scott McGinn (Chelsea), and Mark McGinn; great-grandmother to Olivia and Blair McGinn, Anna and Julia Gruszkowski; sister of Rose Dougherty; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Terry was born on November 4, 1936, in Etna PA before moving to Shaler Twp. She was a lifelong member of All Saint Church (St. Matthew’s Parish). After graduating from Etna High School, she became a licensed beautician. She was a lifelong member of Lodge 4, of the Croatian Fraternal Union. Terry was proud of her Croatian heritage and participated in numerous Croatian festivals, trips, and events with her beloved cousin Anna Marie Ricci, and shared her heritage with her children. She played the Prim in the Keystone Adult Tamburitzans music group.

She and Herb enjoyed a lifelong friendship with six other couples they lovingly referred to as “The Etna Gang”. Terry also had many dear friends at the Shaler Oaks where she resided.

Per her wishes, services and interment were Private. Arrangements made by Perman Funeral Home.
