Treva Ramona Murphy, age 96 of Taneytown died peacefully with her loving family at her side on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Lorien, Taneytown. Born January 5, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Sammeul A. and Carrie P. Rienaman.
Treva was a security guard for many years at English American Co. in Westminster. She was a lover of cats; she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters. She liked spending time at the beach and going to the Gettysburg outlets.
She is survived by son, Glenn E. Murphy, Jr. of Gettysburg, PA; daughter, Tammy Eichelberger and husband David of Thurmont, MD; granddaughter, Amber Faya and husband Mike of Walkersville, Kristen Eichelberger of Thurmont and cat, Miss Kitty of Thurmont.
She is predeceased by her husband Glenn E. Murphy, Sr who passed in 2014 and sister, Mildred Waddell.
