Treva Wright

Treva "Terri" Wright, age 79, of Darlington, IN, passed away peacefully on September 25th, 2024.
Terri was born on January 7th, 1945, to Fred and Stella Anglin in Champaign, IL. She graduated from Southwestern High School and later pursued her passion by attending beauty school, where she launched her career as a talented beautician. Terri served her community in this role for over 30 years, deeply loving her work and the people she met along the way.
Beyond her professional life, Terri was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She married the love of her life, David Wright, on June 7th of 1969, and the two built a beautiful life together. Terri was known for her many hobbies, including baking, gardening, quilting, and needlework, through which she brought warmth and joy to those around her. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the love she shared with friends and family alike.
Terri is survived by her loving husband of many years, David Wright; her son, F. Scott Wright; her daughter, Amber (Kevin) Nelson; her cherished grandchildren, Kaitlin (Leo) Isaak and Lauren Nelson; and her sister, Sis (Tom) Brown. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Stella Anglin.
A memorial service to honor Terri's life will be held on October 26th, 2024, at Darlington United Methodist Church at 1pm, allowing family and friends to gather and celebrate the remarkable woman she was.
