Trinidad "Trini" Garcia entered the gates of Heaven on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the age of seventy-five. She was born on June 12, 1949 to Francisco and Trinidad Garcia.
Trini was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from Burbank High School in 1967 and married her high school sweetheart at seventeen years of age. She was married for eighteen years and raised two daughters while working full time. Trini was proud to have been a manager at Southwestern Bell, where she dedicated thirty years of service.
Trini's love for family and life defined her. She protected her family and worked tirelessly to ensure their happiness and well-being. She taught her family the value of perseverance and the importance of standing firm in adversity. She was strong and resilient, and this strength was evident in her ten-year battle with cancer. Trini leaves behind a legacy of hard work, sacrifice, and unconditional love.
Trini is preceded in death by her father, Franscisco Garcia; her mother, Trinidad Garcia; sisters, Hilaria Hernandez, Juanita Llamas, and Eva Nañes; and brothers, Victor (Eloisa) Garcia, Roberto Garcia, Adan Garcia, Daniel Garcia, and Michael Garcia. Trini was the last of nine siblings to leave this Earth and join her family in Christ.
She is survived by the father of her children, Luis Contreras Jr.; children, Monica Garcia (Glenn) and Rebecca Contreras; grandchildren, Vanessa Contreras (Andrew), Glenn Garcia II, Krista Garcia, and Kevin Garcia; great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Joseph; in-laws, Joe Llamas, Joe Hernandez, Roland (Connie) Contreras, Beatrice Pina, Yolanda (Fred) Garcia, Patsy (Danny) Martinez, Thelma (Dave) Raney, Gracie Cuellar, Maria (Anthony) Diaz, Elizabeth Jaramillo, and Jerry (Concesa) Contreras; and numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.
