Tristan was born on November 17, 1993 in Libertyville, Illinois and lived in the Jacksonville area since 2002 after moving with his family from Lakeland, Florida. He was a graduate of First Coast High School, C/O 2012 and loved basketball and football. He was a avid New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers fan as well he loved Coby Bryant and the Lakers.
Tristan was preceded in death by Ronnell Showell, Sr.; his grandmother: Barbara Riley and great grandparents: Ann Liess, James Langdon and Jane Langdon. He is survived by his parents: Eddie Verrett and Michelle Foster; grandparents: Mary Verrett, James Liess and Anna Jacobs; his daughter: Tamera Dyer; sister: Enisa Verrett; 5 brothers: Eddie Verrett, Tyler Verrett, Darius Bob, Ronnell Showell, Jr. and Shamon Showell as well as numerous aunts, uncles and extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at the Event Center at Peeples, 14165 N. Main Street, with Elder Doug Williams, Sr. and Elder Robert Flucas, Sr. officiating.
His family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.
Peeples Family Funeral Home is serving the Verrett Family.

I met Tristan many years ago through my cousins, Doug (DJ) and Ja´Kobe. He was always so cool, kind, and respectful! We would all gather to play neighborhood basketball and football. Rest well, Tristan.
