Angier, NC: Mr. Troy Dale Beasley, age 65, of NC-50 North passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at his residence after a short battle with cancer. Funeral Services will be held-11:00 AM Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church in Benson. Officiating will be Revs. Joe Brown and Tony Beasley. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson.
Mr. Beasley was born on September 10, 1959 in Harnett County to the late Wade Allen and Catherine Godwin Beasley. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Connie Beasley and nephew, Ken Scott. He was the owner and operator of Troy’s Auto Sales and made a lifelong career as a Car Dealer. He loved to eat Chinese food, spend time with his family, especially his great nieces and nephews, and had a love of hot rod cars and fast motorcycles.
Surviving includes his brother, Ronnie Beasley and wife, Gail of Clayton; sister, Cathy Scott and husband, Jackie of Benson; sister-in-law, Carla Beasley of Benson; longtime companion of many years, Glenda Altman Evans of Dunn; nieces, Heather Beasley Simpson and husband, Phil, Chrissy Beasley Knott and husband, Steven, and Kimberly Scott Lockamy and husband, Brian; great nieces and nephews, Morgan Simpson, Taylor Collins, Harlie Collins, Ashleigh Perry, and Wade Lockamy; great-great niece and nephew, Finley and Maverick; and special dog, “Boo Boo”.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 25, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s’s Children’s Hospital at 501 St. Jude’s Place Memphis, TN 38105 or Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church at 1771 NC-50 S, Benson, NC 27504 or Camp Dixie at 373 Bladen Union Church Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28306.
The family would like to give their heartfelt appreciation to his caregiver, Lenora McLamb for all the love and care she provided to Troy and the family during his illness and all the special friends for all their love and kindness.
