Trudy Ann Marshall, of Londonderry, NH, died Monday July 21, 2025 in her home. She was born on March 27th in Nashua, NH, a daughter of the late Lewis and Elsie (Goodwin) Marshall. She had been a resident of Londonderry for approximately 45 years. Ms. Marshall completed the McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, CA and was most recently employed by the State of NH Disability Determination Services as the Agency's Disability Hearing Officer. She retired December 31, 2009 after nearly 17 years of state service. She was presented with a citation by Governor John H. Lynch for her exemplary service. Prior to that, she was the first female manager of the Social Security Office in Keene, NH. She retired from that agency with more than 25 years of federal employment. She was awarded the Deputy Commissioner's Citation for her outstanding service to the public. She was also retired from the Naval Reserves after completing 30 years of continuous service as an enlisted petty officer earning gold for her meritorious service. She was also selected as Sailor of the Year, while serving at Naval Air Station, South Weymouth, MA.
She held a degree in Applied Science earned at UNH, and was a graduate of Alvirne High School in Hudson, NH. She was a member and Past Matron in the Order of the Eastern Star, and an active member of Rockingham Chapter #3, and served as a Grand Officer on the state level in Eastern Star. Ms. Marshall is a past State Mother Advisor for the International Order of Rainbow for Girls, and served many years on the local Rainbow Advisory Board as well as the state Advisory Board. Ms. Marshall was a member of many professional groups as a result of her various positions.
She is survived by her brother, Arthur Marshall and his wife Cheryl of Hudson, NH; as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Muriel Plummer of Londonderry in 2022.
Following cremation, a private graveside service will be held in the Hills Farm Cemetery, Derry Rd., Hudson, NH.
