Truman R. Brandt, 87, passed away Monday, December 2, 2024. He was the husband of Ruthann E. (DeLong) Brandt. They were married for 57 years. Born in Lebanon Pa, he was the son of the late Harvey Brandt and Grace (Zimmerman) Behney. He graduated from Kutztown Area High School and later proudly served 6 years in the Navy. He went on to work at KU for many years in maintenance until he retired. Tuman was a member of Grace Church, Kutztown, where he sang on the choir and served as President of the Official Board. He was also a member of F Troop. Truman enjoyed his trips to Disney and was especially fond of Eeyore. He also enjoyed spending time over the years with his chocolate labs. He and Ruthie enjoyed eating breakfast at the Airport Diner with their friends. In addition to his wife Ruthann, he is survived by, brother-in-law, Alan Delong; sister-in-law, Judy Wagaman; sister-in-law, Mary Moses; and many nieces and nephews that he loved as his own children. Services are Monday, December 9, 2024 at Grace Church, Kutztown. Visitation with the family will be 10-11am with the service starting at 11am. Interment following at Fairview Cemetery, Kutztown.
