Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia from 5:00 pm until Mass at 6:00 pm on Friday. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Saturday from 8:00 am until 9:00 am.
Mr. is survived by his wife, Thim Thi Tran; eight sons, Hung Tran (Yong) of Aurora, CO, Dung Tran and Chien Tran of Dallas, Thang Tran and Long Tran of Aurora, CO, Thanh Tran of Houma, Hoang Tran (Cathy) of Dallas, and Tuyen Tran of Baton Rouge; two daughters, Nga Tran Z(Hoang) of Oklahoma, and Mylinh Tran (Hussain) of Dallas; six siblings; and 13 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ngoc Tran; mother, Can Tran; and father, Uong Tran.
Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd., New Iberia, LA 70560, (337-365-3331) is in charge of arrangements.
