Tuan Nguyen passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, October 13, 2024.
Tuan was born on August 11, 1960, in My Tho, Vietnam. In 1975, he immigrated to the United States and started his new life in Oregon. He attended Oregon State University and transferred to California State University, Fullerton, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Throughout his career, he reached many significant milestones and achievements, including his promotion to Chief Engineer for the DCMA Space Enterprise – Sunnyvale as well as earning the highest level of recognition in the program.
He always enjoyed the simple things in life. Some of his favorite pastimes included building models, watching airplanes, traveling/road tripping, and hanging out with his family and friends. Despite health challenges in the past year, he was a fighter through and through.
He was a loving husband, father, and brother. He is survived by his lovely wife (Trang Le), children (Tricia and Tyler Nguyen), and siblings (Phuong Anh and Ngoc Phuong Nguyen), along with many other cherished family members and friends. Though he is no longer with us, his positive and fighter spirit will forever live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
The Nguyen family will be holding a viewing and cremation ceremony on November 1 and 2 at Alameda Family Funeral & Cremation in Saratoga.
