Donald Earl Tucker, better known as "Tucker," was born July 12, 1946, in Vernon, Florida, to the late Lynwood and Ada (Benton) Tucker as a twin. He grew up in Chattahoochee, Florida, and graduated from Chattahoochee High School.

He worked for Suber Cattle Company in Quincy, FL, for over 20 years running their hog farrowing operation until it closed. He later took a job in Wildwood, Florida, as Ranch Manager for Monarch Ranch-Northern Trust Company for 15 years until his accident, after which he and his wife moved to Americus, GA, to be closer to loved ones.

Tucker was an avid hunter and fisherman. His greatest joy was the outdoors. He commercial fished as well as fished for pleasure. Being with nature and anything outdoors was what he loved the most in life. He made lifelong friends through hunting and fishing.

Tucker was a very beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Linda was the love of his life for 61 years, in which they were married for 58 of those years. Their unconditional love was what we all seek.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lynwood and Ada Tucker; his twin brother, Ronald Derle Tucker; and his sisters, Glenda Dianne Tucker Owens and Betty Joyce Tucker Brandon.

Tucker is survived by his wife, Linda Sue Morrow Tucker of Americus; his children, Donald Rhett Tucker of Conyers, GA, Donna Renee Tucker Findlay of Americus, GA; his grandchildren, Brantley Dearl Easom (Allison) of Savannah, GA, Alexander Clark Tucker of Conyers, GA, and Victoria Lauren Tucker Sheppard (Carson) of Bedford, Virginia; and three great-grandchildren, Maverick Tucker Easom, Camille Ivy Easom, and Tessa Mae Sheppard. He is also survived by his siblings; Stanley Rufus Tucker (Debby), Martha Ellen Tucker Mitchell, and Nettie Faye Tucker Williams (Donald); along with extended family and many friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kevin Brown officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:30 AM until 12:00 PM at the funeral chapel.

Pallbearers will include Danny Ingram, Tommy Morrow, Jason Tucker, Othel Tucker, John Vickers and David Watson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cornerstone Church of Americus, GA or Georgia Hospice
