Twila Denise Cole July 11, 1966 – June 8, 2025
Twila Denise Cole, 58, of Van Buren, Arkansas, passed away on June 8, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on July 11, 1966, in Ft. Smith, AR, Twila lived a life full of heart, humor, and sparkle. A homemaker and stay-at-home mom, she poured her love into her family and home.
Twila had a passion for all things beautiful and bold - from crafting to her love for "bling" and anything that sparkled. She adored flowers and always found joy in their color and beauty. She was always up for a good time and never missed a chance to share a laugh. Her fun-loving spirit and youthful heart made her a joy to be around.
Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren, who were truly the light of her life. Twila is survived by her children, Gregory Cole II, Brittany Gist, and Amanda Cole; her sister, Debbie Meadows; and her grandchildren, Brylee, Taylor, Cole, Caroline, Justin, Harlea, Evelyn, Gregory III, and Oliver. She also leaves behind her fiancé, Robert Mustard, with whom she shared love and companionship.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Spence and Dianne Flowers, and Mary and Michael Brown.
A celebration of Twila's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 12th, at St. John's Episcopal Church in Ft. Smith, AR. Family and friends are invited to join in remembering and honoring a woman who brought joy, laughter, and love to everyone lucky enough to know her.
Twila's memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who loved her. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Twila, please visit our Tree Store.
