Tyler Mudge

Tyler Mudge, 41, passed away November 10th, 2025, which was the Marine Corps' 250th Birthday. Tyler was born on January 23, 1984, in Bakersfield, California to Marlene Moore and James Mudge. He grew up in Bakersfield, CA and attended North High School.
Tyler was the shop Forman for Alpha Knife Company, from April 2020, until his passing. Tyler enlisted in the Marines in April of 2002 where he served as a Bioneuclear Chemical Specialist. He did two tours in Iraq and was honorably discharged in May of 2005. Tyler greatly enjoyed being a part of the Cedar City Marine Corps League, of which he was the Post Commander, as well as the Jr. Vice Commander for the VFW, and a member of the Elks. Tyler was very active with his friends at Brave Lizard Tactical Range, in Beryl, UT. Tyler was a great friend to many.
Tyler is survived by his parents, his brother Joshua Mudge, his nephew Logan Mudge, his step mother Gloria Mudge, his grandmother Dorothy Moore, his aunt Sherri Moore, his uncle Russell Moore, his aunt and uncle David and Mary Mudge, his best friend since high school Anthony Barnes, and many extended family members as well as close friends.
He is proceeded in death by his grandfather Cdr. Rowland Moore, as well as his grandfather and grandmother Harry and Maimie Mudge.
Graveside services will be held December 5, 2025, at 1pm. at Southern Utah National Cemetery,
