Tyler Shaffer Obituary
He was born on October 28, 1993, in Indianapolis and was the son of Ann (Hatchel) Shaffer and Mark Shaffer.
Tyler graduated from Bloomington High School South in 2012 and studied psychology at Indiana University for a few years. He enjoyed meditation and was an avid reader. He was a big fan of the New England Patriots, especially Tom Brady, and he enjoyed basketball, particularly watching the Pacers. Tyler also liked to play disc golf, and he enjoyed doing card tricks as a teenager.
He is survived by his mother, Ann Shaffer of Bloomington; father, Mark Shaffer of Tipton; sister, Samantha Shaffer of Bloomington; companion, Jenn Hamm of Bloomington; and aunts and uncles, Scott & Marla Hatchel and Elizabeth & Rob Hatchel, all of Lafayette.
Tyler was preceded in death by his grandparents, William & Jane Hatchel.
In keeping with his and his family's wishes, cremation is planned with no services to be held at this time. Allen Funeral Home was entrusted to the care of these arrangements.

Tyler, even though I never got to meet you in person I know you were a very kind man with many good qualities.. to be with my cousin Jennifer, whom I know loved you dearly, you had to be a great guy.. I was praying for you thru your journey.. Rest in Heaven ..my condolences to all the family..
