Funeral services for Mrs. Valerie Duncan, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 2 PM, at the God's Divine Vision Ministries, 600 Telfair Street in Dublin. The interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery in Dublin.
Mrs. Valerie Faye Duncan was born on Monday, September 24, 1973, to the late Miss Gloria Jean Lanier. She was a lifetime resident of Dublin, Georgia and a former nurse of 24 years at the Carl Vinson Veterans Administration Medical Center until she was called to her eternal rest on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Miss Gloria Jean Lanier, grandmother, Mattie Lanier, and a host of uncles and an aunt.
Mrs. Duncan leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Terrance Duncan, daughters: Takiya Bostic and Ayanna Duncan; grandchildren: Marley Brantley and Sevyn Thomas; brothers: Curtis (Erica), Miguel (Carol), & Hosea (Lillian) Lanier; nieces: Taja Lanier, Ashley Dupree, Keshana Lanier, D'Azsia Lanier, and nephew, C J Lanier; sister-in-law, Andrommeda O'Neal, and devoted and loving family members, coworkers, and friends.
