Vance Chambers Obituary

Vance (Junior) Chambers, 87 of Ringgold, Ga passed away July 20, 2025 at his home after a long battle with cancer.
He was a lifelong resident of Ringgold and a member of Catoosa Baptist Tabernacle.
For over 40 years he was the proud owner of Chambers Clean-up shop (his car detailing business which served several dealerships as well as individuals), After decades of entrepreneurship, he closed the business. He also dedicated 38 years to the Catoosa County Transportation System before retiring.
He was a beloved Father, Gramps, devoted husband and had a deep love for animals which included his dog Kadi.
His simple joys in life were his family, eating breakfast with his friends and making you laugh with his humorous comebacks (even if he wasn't trying). He took great pride in maintaining his lawn as well as restoring old classic vehicles, and there was nothing greater than watching Westerns.
He was preceded in death by his parents Grady & Louise Cummings Chambers, Siblings: Tam Smith, Judy Wooten, Jimmy & Charles Chambers. Son: Terry Chambers and Granddaughter Lexus Chambers.
Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Suzette Chambers, Son: Gene (Kim) Chambers, Daughters: Diane Vaughn, Rhonda (Richard) Mason & Tracy (Scott) Stoker.
Grandchildren: Ethan (Stephanie) Vaughn, Brooke Vaughn (Brandon Farrow) Ryan (Chemeka) Chambers, Karley, Vance & Charlee Chambers.
Great grandchildren: Sadie, Riley, Jacob, Eli, Emmie, Jayla, Khi, Kamdyn, Liam & Kingston. The family wishes to express deep gratitude to Dr Harsha Vardhana and his staff for their dedication, support and treatments. We also want to express our heartfelt thanks to Hearth Hospice for their compassion and unwavering support.
Memorial contributions may be made to St Jude Children's Hospital or the Shriners Children's Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Justin Gazaway officiating. Interment in the Anderson Memorial Gardens with Ethan Vaughn, Scott Stoker, Brandon Farrow, Richard Mason, Jesse McClure and Mitch Worley serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
