She is preceded in death by her father William Baldwin and mother Minnie Dodson; brothers Richard Roy and Ralph LeRoy; sister Ruth Noblitt; and stepdad Walter Dodson. She is survived by children Robin Goss (Bobby), Tim Jones (Teresa), and Jill Jones; and grandchildren Courtney Sweeden and Lindsay Phelps.
The visitation will be at Greenlawn Funeral Home North Tuesday, May 10, 10:00 am, with the service following at 11:00 am. The burial will be at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
In honor of Velma the family ask that everyone wear blue, Velma's favorite color.
