Vera Addison Obituary
She attended South High School in Akron, Ohio, and graduated in 1961. Vera moved to New York City for 5 years and then moved back to Akron, Ohio where for 29 years
She worked for K-Mart and Builders Square. Vera also worked at the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles where she retired after 13 years of service. Her hobbies were cooking, sewing, bingo, and the Casino which she loved.
Preceded in death by parents, Ozell and Thelma Addison and brother, Carl Addison.
Vera enjoyed sewing, cooking, casino, and bingo.
She is survived by sister, Phyllis Addison and Brenda Rodriguez and sister-in-law, Eleanor Addison; niece, Marketa Rodriguez; nephews, Michael (Leigh) Rodriguez, Phillip Addison, Carl (Patty) Addison, Terrence (Dionne) Addison; goddaughter, Gina Taylor and a host of special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends whom she adored; best cousins include, Ella Ruth Bryant and Jeanette Tyson and best friend, Mamie Davis.
