A native of Louisiana, she was a Hairdresser and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Luke Russo and Lena DiMaggio Russo.
Left to cherish her memory are her grandsons, Joseph Gipson, Stephen Gipson, and Paul Russo; and her granddaughters, Desiree Simmons, Lina Verdun, Paul Gipson Jr., plus many other members of the Gipson family.
