Verma Lee Inman

Verma Lee Inman, 92, of Huntsville; passed away Monday, October 13, 2025, at Countryside Assisted Living, in Huntsville. She was born Saturday, April 1, 1933, at Weathers; to Charlie Lovel and Flora Ida Ficht Johnson.
Verma Lee married the love of her life, Virgil Lonnie Inman, on Friday, January 29, 1954, in Huntsville, and together they were blessed with two children, Diana and Gary. She was a devoted homemaker and a faithful attendee of the Lower Wharton Creek Church. Verma Lee often reminisced about her childhood, fondly recalling the days she spent picking strawberries for ten cents a quart-a simple time that taught her the value of hard work and the joy found in life's little moments. She loved canning, gardening, and cooking and was especially known for her delicious hot rolls. She cherished life on the farm, where she and Virgil raised cattle and chickens, and held a deep affection for the old farmhouse she had called home since 1957, a place filled with precious memories. Verma Lee was outgoing and loved visiting with others. She shared a special bond with her brother, Wayne-a true example of lifelong sibling love. Above all, she deeply loved her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who brought her the greatest joy.
Verma Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Inman and her parents, Charlie and Flora Johnson.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Jennifer Inman of Wharton Creek and one daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Earl Lyman of Springdale. She is also survived by one brother, Wayne Johnson of Wharton Creek; four grandchildren, David Lyman, Sarah and Jamie Stallings all of Springdale and Hannah and Charlie Inman, both of Wharton Creek. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Eleanor and Henry Stallings of Springdale.
The family will receive friends 9:00 AM-10:00 AM, Friday, October 17, 2025, at Brashears Funeral Home. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 10:00 AM, with Jim Hepler officiating. Pallbearers will be Bob Parker, Darby Spurlock, Gary Inman, Paul Inman, Mark Carpenter, and Freddie Ficht. Interment will immediately follow services at Wharton Creek Cemetery, Huntsville, AR.
