VICKI LEIGH ALLEN, 70, passed away Monday, February 5, 2024 at her residence.
A native and lifelong resident of Aiken, Vicki was a daughter of the late Quince, Jr. and Evelyn Irene Moses Allen. She retired from Walmart on Richland Ave. Vicki was a loving sister, mother and grandmother, and loved life. She loved the beach as much as the mountains, but her favorite place was anywhere her grandkids were. For the last six months or so, the chemo took a toll on her body and her health, but never her spirit and her desire for adventure.
Survivors include two sons, Vernon Holmes (Maranda), Aiken, Evan Alex Huff, Monetta; three grandchildren, Emma Lynn Huff, Logan Alex Huff, Parker Holmes; her sister, Debby Bouknight, Aiken; her brother, Quince “Buddy” Allen, Aiken; devoted cousin, Angela Skinner; lifelong friend and caregiver, Katherine Kaney.
The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon, February 10th beginning at 2 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 3 o'clock with The Rev. Clint Bartlett officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Piedmont Augusta’s Breast Health Center, Piedmont Augusta Foundation, 2260 Wrightsboro Rd., Augusta, GA 30904 (http://give.piedmont.org/augusta).
