VICKI S. DILLON POSEYVILLE, INDIANA Watch her Video Tribute at: http://www.werryfuneralhomes.com/obituaries/permalink/11907380/LTVideo Vicki Sue Dillon, 78, of Poseyville, Indiana, passed away courageously fighting breast cancer, Sunday, September 7, 2025 at the Heritage Center at Holiday Health Care in Evansville, Indiana. She was born November 27, 1946, to Emil Ambrose and Mable Alien (Meyer) Strange in Evansville, Indiana. She was a proud member of the North Posey class of 1964 and loved helping organize many class reunions over the years. She was especially proud of brainstorming and organizing the first ever St Francis Xavier class reunion. Over the years she worked at Harold's Restaurant, Foster's 5 & 10 and H & R Pharmacy. She was also co-owner of Grandma's House gift shop. She was known for her crafting skills as well as making floral arrangements, and did the flowers for many weddings and proms. In recent years, she began making beautiful Christmas trees and crosses from costume jewelry. Surviving are her daughter: Amy Stephens (Mark); granddaughters: Tessa (Hunter), Rachel (Ivan) and Meredith Stephens; siblings: Terri Motz (Norman), Jeanne Wilderman (Bill), Jane Seib (Ernie), Mary Jo Hipp (Dave), Jon Strange (Debbie), Bobbi Ziliak (Dennis) and Jenni Anderson (Joseph); step-great-granddaughter: Isabella Palencia; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews along with her much loved granddog: Zeppelin. Preceding her in death were her parents; son: Kevin Dillon who passed away at the age of 11 in 1978 and a brother-in-law: Danny Ziliak in 2017. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, September 11, 2025 at the Werry Funeral Home in Poseyville, Indiana with burial to follow in Poseyville Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-7 p.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Kevin Dillon Memorial Scholarship Fund, PO Box 161, Poseyville, IN 47633. A special thank you to the caregivers at the Heritage Center and Heritage Hospice.
