Dr. Vicki June Hindman, 76, a beloved daughter, wife, sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully September 21, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. Born on February 14, 1949 in Knoxville, Vicki's life was a masterclass in striving for excellence. Pursuing an education, being a classroom teacher, various artistic endeavors, boating and water skiing, gardening, home design, playing duplicate bridge, lovingly caring for her pets, planning family gatherings, game nights, vacations and traveling were all approached with the goal of taking the time and making the best effort to do it well. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents Eugene T. and Macie M. Hindman, her husband Chambliss (Bliss) Pierce, sister-in-law Angie Hindman, niece-in-law Jane Hindman, and nephew Brent Hindman. She is survived by brother Steve Hindman, sister Peggy Phillips, niece Lauren Lukkarila (Anneliese Singh), niece Shea Bane (Kenny), nephew Steven Hindman, niece-in-law Julianne Hindman, great-nephews Elijah Bane, Caz Bane, and Rett Bane, great-nieces Marina Hindman, Aurora Hindman, and Mahkaylah Hindman, and great-great nephew Reece Hindman. Vicki often gave of her time and made special efforts to help her family members and friends in so many ways. She will be remembered and missed not only by her family, but also the friends she made and cherished throughout her life. There will be a graveside memorial and interment at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery on November 15th, 2025 at 11am. Online condolences may be made at www.rosefuneraltn.com
