Vicki Morgan

A Celebration of Life for Vicki Morgan, 73, of Tyler, will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Stewart Family Funeral Home, with Fred Smith officiating. The family kindly requests that attendees wear spring colors.
Mrs. Morgan passed away on April 8, 2025, and was born on October 4, 1951.
Vicki was raised in Linden, TX, and graduated from Linden-Kildare High School in 1970. After marrying her high school sweetheart, Tony, they moved to Nacogdoches, where he completed his degree at Stephen F. Austin. In 1972, they moved to Tyler, where she would spend the rest of her life. A devoted member of Green Acres Baptist Church, Vicki attended Fred Smith's Sunday School Class and treasured her time there. She had a deep love for following Jesus, and one of her greatest desires was for all her family members to come to know Him.
Vicki's passions included traveling, fishing, sewing, gardening, cooking, crafting, playing games, and shopping with her granddaughters. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family, hosting family and holiday celebrations that included her annual Easter egg hunts and pumpkin painting parties in the fall. When she wasn't in Tyler, she found joy at her cabin in Jefferson, TX, and the Ferndale Fishing Club.
Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Neva Hall. Her greatest joys in life were being a wife, mother, Granmom, and GiGi. She is survived by her devoted family, including her husband of 54 years, Tony Morgan; children Karen Orlowski (Ryan) and Ben Morgan (Stephanie); and grandchildren Meghan Orlowski, Nick Orlowski (Karris), and Lola Morgan. She is also survived by her sister, Charleen Creamer (Milton).
Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Cain, Kevin Cashion, Chuck Dickson, Bob Dougherty, David Googins, Nathaniel Moran, Richard Perryman, and Bill Sheehy.
Visitation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Samaritan's Purse or Hospice of East Texas.
