Her Legacy Vicki Lou Nichols, 81, passed away December 12, 2024. She was born on April 13, 1943, in Port Huron, MI to Jack Eisenhauer and Marion Jane (Hart) Eisenhauer. Vicki married the love of her life, Donald Nichols, on December 26, 1964 at the Howell Church of the Nazarene. She will be remembered as an outgoing woman who loved and cared for others, making friends quickly and helping whenever and wherever needed. Vicki sought out ways to love and care for children, including a number of ministries at her church, the Fowlerville Church of the Nazarene, where she also served as Missionary Society President. She was also proud to serve as Secretary for the Livingston Christian School. In addition Vicki loved and supported her boys, and was a fierce competitor when it came to family table games. She loved to take road trips with Donald, the last of which had them retrace a beloved trip her mother had taken years before throughout New England. She loved gospel quartet music and worked hard to make situations better, and keep things organized.
Her Family Vicki will be missed by her husband, Donald Nichols; her children, Michael Nichols and Matthew Nichols; brother Frank Eisenhauer; granddaughter Rachel Nichols, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings John Eisenhauer, and Marianne Porter.
Her Farewell Vicki's family and friends will gather on Tuesday, December 17 from 5-7 pm at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Howell Memorial Chapel in Howell, Michigan. The gathering will continue at the Fowlerville Church of the Nazarene on Wednesday, December 18 at 10 am with Community Farewell Service at 11 am. Pastor Craig Weihman will serve as Celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to Fowlerville Church of the Nazarene Local Compassionate Ministries. Please leave a message of comfort for Vicki's family at 1-877-231-7900, or sign her guestbook at www.borekjennings.com.
