Vicki Weddle, 86, of Denton, TX, passed away on August 30, 2025. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, on August 28, 1939.

Vicki held many jobs in her professional career, including airline reservationist, travel agent, office manager for her husband, Royce, assistant to a college dean, and school cafeteria cook and server. After their "retirement," Vicki & Royce became long haul truckers and got to see the USA from the East coast to the West coast and everything in between.

Vicki was a great cook and wonderful homemaker. She loved to bake and was praised for her desserts, especially her highly regarded cookies, the recipe for which she happily shared with others. However, no one has been able to duplicate Vicki's delicious treats exactly. Such was her magic touch.

Vicki was preceded in death by her husband, Royce Weddle, and daughter Robin Weddle, both of Denton, TX. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Wright and husband Tim of Northlake, TX, son, Randy Weddle and wife Miriam of Denton, TX, grandchildren Gwen Wright, Jordan Wright, Ryan Weddle, and Reid Weddle, as well as great-grandchildren Mila, TJ, and Corbin Wright.

The family would like to extend their thanks to everyone who called and visited Mom during her stay at the skilled nursing facility and our deep appreciation to the staff at University Rehabilitation Center in Denton for the wonderful care they provided to our mom during her last months.

Visitation will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Highland Baptist Church, 600 Thomas St, Denton, TX, followed by the funeral at 11:00. The ladies of the church will serve lunch afterward.
