Vickie Mae Gillespie, 63, of Gray Court, wife of Edgar Gillespie, died Sunday, September 4, 2022.
Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lola Mae Jordan.
Mrs. Gillespie was a loving and dedicated wife and mother and an adoring grandmother.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her two sons, Brian Gillespie (Kristie) and Michael Gillespie (Michelle); four granddaughters, Isabella, Sydney Kate, Caroline and Penelope Gillespie; four sisters, Wanda Rogers (Terry), Jewel Garst (John), Sara Powell and Cindy Hanvey (Roger); one brother, Ronnie Redding; and two sisters by choice, Nancy Pennington and Linda Canady.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Redding and two sisters, Geraldine Bowen and Teresa Redding.
A visitation will be held Thursday, September 8, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest Chapel. The graveside service will be held Friday, September 9, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Highland Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Gray Court, S.C.
