Vickie "Thomas" Morris

Vickie (Thomas) Morris, age 70, passed away peacefully in West Monroe on Friday, February 13, 2026. A devoted mother and grandmother, Vickie found her greatest joy in caring for her family and filling her home with warmth and love. She had a special talent for cooking and sewing, often sharing her creations with those around her. A faithful Christian, Vickie treasured her time spent reading her Bible and living out her faith. Known for her friendly spirit and gift for conversation, she never met a stranger and touched the lives of many with her kindness and genuine love for people.

Vickie is survived by her grandchildren, Drake Morris, Drew Morris and Jarod Louviere; siblings, Dale Thomas (Pam), Sherry Thomas and Linda Reed (Bud); special nephews, Lucas Thomas and Robbie Reed; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Ray Morris, children, Jerry Ray Morris II and Jennifer (Morris) Louviere; father, Lester Alan Thomas; mother, Helen Lois (Henderson) Thomas; siblings, Tammy Kay Norred and Carolyn Oglesby.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM with Bro. Jason Womack officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories in Jonesboro, under the direction of Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Drake Morris, Drew Morris, Jarod Louviere, Waylon Louviere, Lance Thomas, Dale Thomas and Gunther Simpson.
