Victor Buchinsky Obituary
Born May 13, 1930 in Moween, he was a son of the late Victor Buchinsky & Helen (Kowalewski) Buchinsky.
Victor proudly served our country with the United States Army, and worked for Bell Construction for his career.
He enjoyed farming, walking the train tracks, and going to local casinos.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his girlfriend, Goldie English; son, James Buchinsky; grandson, Victor D. Buchinsky, great-grandson, Landon; brothers, Eddie, Jon, Walter, and Stanley Buchinsky; and his sisters, Olga Janoscrat, Helen Duffield, Stefie Buchinsky.
Victor is survived by his daughters, Sue R. (Sergio) Pierce of Greensburg, Lisa M. (Bryan Humberger) DiLascio of Greensburg; son, Victor (Tammy) Buchinsky of Black Lick Township; seven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends will be received in the Curran Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 701 Salt St., Saltsburg, on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until the Celebration Of Life Tribute Service at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Saltsburg, with military honors accorded by the Saltsburg American Legion Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Victor's name to the Disabled American Veterans, 1000 Liberty Ave., Suite #1606, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
