Obituary of Victor Gabriel Sandoval
Victor Gabriel Sandoval, 21, was taken tragically from this earth on June 3, 2022. Victor was born on October 17, 2000 in Albuquerque NM and is survived by his Father Victor Sandoval, Mother Christian Sanchez (Gary Kellman), Paternal Grandfather Fred Sandoval, Paternal Grandmother, Esperanza Anaya, and Maternal Grandmother Mary Jane Easterly. His siblings included Sisters Stephanie Calderon (Gilbert), Valeria Hidalgo (Jared), and Marissa Sanchez, (Joshua Padilla), Brothers Brenden Sandoval, and Lucius Sandoval. Victor was also survived by many other family members to include Aunts, Uncles, nephews, a niece, many cousins and friends.
Victor currently worked at Sports and Wellness Highpoint. His previous employer of 3 years, was the City of Albuquerque at Holiday Park Community Center. In both places he was able to make many lasting friendships as well as serve his community. He enjoyed working with children and teaching them basketball skills. He was also a current student at CNM, and a graduate of Manzano High School's class of 2019. He was pursuing his degree in Film and had a passion for Photography and recently started his own photography business. Victor's was also a movie critic of sorts, being inspired by his High School teacher Mr. Shanley. Anyone that had special meaning in Victor's life knew of his "Movie list". He would watch the movies with you, which lead to a discussion about the movie, and he would share all of the interesting facts of how the movie was made with you. 2018 brought a great blessing to his life as he was able to travel to Europe, which was life changing in many ways. It opened his eyes to the world and created the desire to travel and view all the wonders the world had to offer. He seemed to see the world in a whole new perspective. Many thanks to Mr. Sparago for knowing he needed this trip. It made his life that much more fulfilled.
Victor was a very outgoing, charismatic, and had a very comedic personality. We would often find him joking and pranking family and friends just to see them smile and laugh. He was forever giving you the "bird", it was used as a signal of Love and in the midst of happiness and fun. His penchant for invading your personal space was him showing you he needed your love and attention.
Victor will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. The way he viewed the world from his lens was beautiful, please try to find the beauty in all the world has to offer.
The Family would like to Thank all those who have taken the time to reach out and provide support in the many ways they have.
Services will be held at:
Loyal Order of Moose
