Victoria "Baba" Evans was born July 29, 1983 in Sumter, South Carolina to the late Joyce and Frank Evans, Jr. She departed this life on Saturday, August 17. 2024 in Columbia, SC.
Victoria attended Sumter High School in Sumter, SC. Victoria was employed at USC Columbia at the time of her death. She was kind, outgoing, affectionate, loving, and would never let anything get past her without talking junk to someone. Victoria always had a smile on her face, and everyone loved her. She would always give a helping hand to anyone in need of assistance. Victoria leaves her family and friends with precious memories that will forever live in their hearts.
In addition to her parents, Joyce and Frank Evans, Jr., Victoria was preceded in death by her son, Dives Keyon Evans; a grandmother, Azalee "Snuggie" Jones, a cousin, Bessie Solomon, and a nephew Messiah Pugh.
Victoria leaves to cherish her memories to her four surviving children: Amani Mouzon of Louisiana, Diamond Evans of Florence, SC, Keyon Evans and Charlasja Sweat both of Sumter, SC and two grandchildren, Tayliah and Divonna Alston; two sisters, Rashida (Mack) Ceasar and Jeronia (Rogerick) Pugh all of Sumter; four brothers, Reginald (Sabrina) Jones of Charlotte, NC, Michael (Ebony) Evans, Jackie Pringle, and Frank Evans III, all of Sumter; one stepmother, Jeronia (Clayton) Butler; one special uncle, Edward Jones ; one very special sister Foloyshia (Demetrius) Lonnon, one special niece, Alexus (Quincy) Addison, and two special nephew; Deandre Randolph and Michael Evans Jr., all of Sumter, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
