Vidal Lopez, Jr., 70 of Lubbock, passed away on February 11, 2023. Visitation for Mr. Lopez will be at 4:00pm until 6:00pm, followed by a Holy Rosary that will be recited at 6:00pm, Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be at 10:00am, Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Lemons Memorial Chapel with Father Bill Anton officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home of Plainview.
Vidal was born on November 26, 1952, in Plainview, Texas to Vidal Lopez, Sr. and Juanita Enriquez Lopez. He was a graduate of Plainview High School. He married Lydia Vasquez, February 14, 2019, in Lubbock, Texas.
Vidal was a truck driver. He enjoyed playing bingo, watching movies, listening to Tejano music, and dancing. He loved watching sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys.
Vidal is survived by his wife, Lydia Lopez of Lubbock; two Stepsons, Johnny Figeroa and Andrew Ramos (Maricella); four Stepdaughters, Amanda Munoz (Joshua), Debbie Figeroa, Andrea Jimenez (Robert), and Leticia Ramos, all of Lubbock; thirteen Step grandchildren and fourteen Step great-grandchildren and one sister Rita Lopez Sepeda and husband Mike Sepeda of Plainview.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vidal and Juanita Lopez; two brothers: Hector and Erasmo Lopez; one sister, Irene Flores; one Stepdaughter, Sylvia Figeroa, and one nephew, Michael Sepeda.
