Vika Maluhola Lino passed away on July 17, 2024 in her home surrounded by family. She was born on September 2, 1953 in Talafou, Tonagtapu to Sione Samu Lao and Lousiale Velitoa Kata. Vika married Salesi Lino on February 14, 1998.
Vika graduated from Liahona High School and then went on to serve an LDS mission in Nuku Nuku, Tonga. She was a faithful servant of God for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved serving in her ward, she loved gardening, cooking for her family, doing temple work, and going to dances. She also loved buying clothes for her loved ones and hanging out with her kids and grandkids.
Vika is survived by her husband Salesi Lino; granddaughter Victoria Vea (daughter of Vanessa); son Ray Satini (Vika Satini) (Ray and Vika’s children) grandchildren Vanessa, Keni Jr., Rayrae, Samu, Fehoko, Loisi, Fine, Leaaesiliva; Spencer Satini, (his children) grandchildren Vika Si’i, Makenzie, Braedon, Elonzo; son Soakai Jr. Satini; daughter Racheal Vea (Brianna Owens).
She is preceded in death by her parents Sione Samu Lao and Lousiale Lao; daughter Vanessa Betty Joy Satini; grandson Alanikasi Spencer Satini; granddaughter Nikita Vea; and grandson Simione Vea.
Funeral Services (Bishop’s Service) will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Hunter 13th Ward Chapel, 3260 South 4440 West, West Valley City, Utah. Family service and viewing will be held prior from 8:00 to 11:30 AM. Interment following services at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah
